Assessing the Organizational Health of key leadership teams throughout
an organization on an annual basis provides an objective and reliable
method of focusing organizational energies on continuous improvement
for leaders and members of their units. When leaders model perpetual
learning, it has a positive impact upon members of their teams. As a
result of improved Organizational Health, one can predict that there
will be an increase in the levels of organizational productivity.
- In a corporate setting, organization health diagnostic and development
strategies are typically introduced by the CEO or a key leader in
the Human Resources department.
- In public school systems, organizational health diagnostic and
development strategies are most often initiated by the superintendent;
however, these strategies may be initiated by proactive principals,
staff developers, or assistant superintendents.

between the dimensions of Organizational Health and measures of productivity.
The development components are based on 24 years of research
and development. Each of the ten chapters provides a solid theoretical
foundation as well as practical, tried-and-tested strategies for improving
that specific dimension. The implementation of these improvement strategies
produce improved levels of Organizational Health and productivity.
